May 28, 2004

The Osbourne family (Sharon, Ozzy, Kelly and Jack) and THE DARKNESS were on hand for the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards Japan on Sunday (May 23) at Tokyo Bay NK Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Check out pictures from Wire Image (arrivals, show, pressroom),Sky News, and MTVJapan.com.

As previously reported, Ozzy Osbourne was introduced as "the Prince of Darkness" by THE DARKNESS before he accepted the "Legend Award" at the show.

"This is the best award of them all because it's real — all the other ones are plastic," Ozzy said. "It's really weird, people know me now from the show, but they don't know I've been doing rock 'n' roll for 35 years."
